Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (SHE'S SO SPECIAL) (3-1) - A lightly raced daughter of 'Hard Spun', she's cutting back in distance while switching back to the grass after finishing third going a mile on the dirt Dec. 15. Filly had rallied to check in second in a grass sprint Nov. 17 at Del Mar and I like her chances.
2nd pick: #6 (Don't Unzip Me) (6-1) - This filly was purchased for $130,000 as a weanling back in Nov. of 2017 by the Tommy Town people. She finished 4th of 7, missing by just under 3 lengths debuting in a 5-furlong sprint on the Tapeta surface at Golden Gate Fields Dec. 13. She was bumped at the break and had a wide trip in what was an encouraging first attempt.
3rd pick: #4 (Nu Pi Lambda) (4-1) - Speedy sort finished second in her first pair sprinting on the grass, then did not have the best of trips when when 3.5 lengths behind 'She's So Special' Nov. 17. A home bred by 'City Zip', she should be in this every step and is in the win mix.
