2nd pick: #1 (Dis Smart Cat) (5-1) - Speedy and lightly-raced, 4-year-old tired while racing wide here at this level Jan. 6. It was her first start since late August and she's been working fast since. Has the rail and is a threat at a square price.
3rd pick: #3 (Pico Chick) (9-2) - She's won more races (five) than any other entered. In shape, trainer Ed Truman moves her up in class. Four-year-old filly has an excellent local record 8-3-2-3 and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (Calm the Sea) (7-2) - She's 5-years-old and is only making her third start. Mare was 5.5 lengths in back of 'Plane Lucky' last out, but she had a poor post in the slop and was racing off an 11 month layoff. Can't eliminate her.
