Five-year-old has a fine record here 10-3-1-3 and is 7-3-1-2 at this 7 furlong trip. Trainer Peter Miller drops her in class and she draws a fine outside post.
2nd pick: #7 (Meet and Greet) (4-1) - Home bred by 'Tribal Rule' has won both starts and is working well above average for her first since Nov. 1. Three-year-old has a speed/stalking style and has room for upside.
3rd pick: #3 (Kentan Road) - She's facing winners for the first time following an easy gate-to-wire maiden win going 6 furlongs at Los Al Dec. 2. Home bred has worked fast here since and is another with ample room for upside.
4th pick: #8 (Dalsaros) (5-2) - Away since March 18, 4-year-old by 'Unbridled's Song' was an 11.5 length maiden winner here that day going a mile. Working both steadily and above average for her return, she's an obvious contender if ready, but is no 'lock' at a presumed short price.
5th pick: #1 (Discreet Senorita) (15-1) - Mare ships from the East Coast where she's won 9-of-18 starts on the dirt and is 5-for-10 at this distance. However, she's been in poor form of late and multiple stakes winner needs to turn it around today. At this point, I believe a minor award at a big price is her ceiling.
