Top pick: #5 (DANCINTHENIGHTAWAY) (2-1) - Home bred by "Indian Charlie" is undefeated (2-for-2) winning one each on dirt and turf. She's very fast from the gate, continues to "blister" in the mornings, and her trainer (Mark Glatt) is having a career year. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #10 (Sayes So) (4-1) - Nice debut Nov. 27 at Del Mar saw her break on top, open a clear lead, and continue on to coast home by almost three lengths in fast time. Daughter of "Congrats" moves from "poly" to dirt and stretches out a furlong. She'll need to avoid a duel with "Dancinthenightaway" for her best chance.
3rd pick: #8 (Mum's Truckee) (6-1) - Veteran is one of two entered by trainer Pete Mille. Stretch runner broke her maiden here and should get a fast and/or contested pace to close into.
4th pick: #11 (Pila) (8-1) - The second of the Miller fillies, stalker is racing for the first time since late April. She's gone 6-2-3-0 on real dirt, is working nicely, and can factor if ready.
