Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (EVO CAMPO) (4-1) - Irish bred mare has been freshened up since tiring here in a G2 stakes March 12. 5yo has won four of eight on the local turf and scored at this 12-furlong distance last June. Working steadily, and she gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #9 (Laseen) (5-1) - Another Irish import, she finished 2nd to today's rival 'Place Des Voges' here facing weaker March 26. It was a good effort, was her first in this country, and first since Nov. 19. She's done well at his distance many times in the past and is dangerous.
3rd pick: #2 (Place Des Voges) (3-1) - She's won two in a row here facing weaker and is in career best form. Both wins came following the addition of blinkers, and mare can factor despite facing tougher.
4th pick: #1 (Estrechada) (7-2) - Argentine import finished 2nd here in a stakes at this distance Feb. 2. Moved the dirt last out in a G1, she was over-matched while beaten a dozen lengths. Back on the grass, she must be left in the mix.
