Top pick: #7 (LOOKIN AT LUCKY) - Talented and versatile, he's a "head" (a loss in the Breeder's Cup Juvenile (G1)) of being an undefeated runner heading into this. He won his seasonal debut at Oaklawn in the Rebel stakes (G2) (his first ever on conventional dirt). Son of "Smart Strike" can be placed just about anywhere and he's worling in fine fashion for this. The top pick.
2nd pick: #10 (Alphie's Bet) - Strong finisher looked great in winning the "Sham Stakes" (G3) in his seasonal debut on March 6 and he's now two for two since trainer Alexis Barba added blinkers two starts back. Stretch threat.
3rd pick: #9 (Skipshot ) - Lightly raced and developing quickly since a trainer switch to Jerry Hollendorfer. Speed/stalker has a "bullet" drill on March 28 and he's a dangerous runner from on, or just off the pace.
4th pick: #6 (Caracortado) - Modestly bred gelding won his first five starts before finishing third last out in a race where he was done in by a pedestrian pace set by a wire-to-wire winner. Hard to not keep him in the exotics mix.
