Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (BELVOIR BAY) (3-1) - One of two veteran mares entered by Peter Miller, she just missed in a G3 turf sprint at Keeneland Oct. 12. She's won 5-of-8 here on the grass and is a sparkling 4-for-5 at this often tricky 'down the hill' trip. The 6yo will be tough to beat with her 'A' game.
2nd pick: #9 (Painting Corners) (7-2) - The other mare from trainer Peter Miller, she's the main speed almost every time she runs and is a specialist here at this distance 7-3-1-3. This 5yo Florida is a strong win candidate and she completes a strong hand from the barn.
3rd pick: #8 (Lady Suebee) (5-1) - Up to this point her entire career has been on the NYRA circuit. Formerly with Chad Brown, she runs off a three month layoff and a trainer change to John Sadler. This stalker lacks the experience of both 'Belvoir Bay' and 'Painting Corners' and believe a minor award is her ceiling.
4th pick: #1 (Compelled) (4-1) - Lightly raced 5yo mare went 6-1-1-1 in 2018 and competed in Louisiana, Florida, Maryland, and California. On the sidelines since Sept. 22, the stretch runner is working steadily and should be making up ground late.
