2nd pick: #2 (Jack and I) (4-1) - He ships from Golden Gate Fields where he finished a pace-setting third when facing a bit tougher Sept. 15. Best used from a stalking spot, grey gelding can factor if that tactic is used.
3rd pick: #4 (Platinum Equity) (8-1) - Stalker moves up in class while switching from dirt to turf in his first following an Andy Lerner claim. He's nibbled in the past facing tougher on the grass and think he can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #7 (Gray Admiral) (7-2) - He rallied into a fast pace to win here at this tag and distance Sept. 28. Unfortunately for his backers 3yo was disqualified and placed fourth. Unless the pace is fast and/or contested, believe a minor award is his ceiling.
