Bred & owned by Mrs. Baffert, daughter of "Temple City" moves to the turf and stretches out in distance. Look for a competitive race at a square price.
3rd pick: #1 (Backstreet Lisa) (8-1) - She has more speed than most and is breaking from the rail in her turf and two-turn debut. She had a very tough post last out at Los Alamitos and did well while enduring a wide trip. Can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Educating) (9-2) - Filly was well backed when debuting in a mile grass race at Del Mar Aug. 31. She made up some ground late and has been working frequently for a 23% second out barn (Tom Proctor).
5th pick: #5 (Miz Graycee) (10-1) - Grey filly will be going dirt to turf and stretching out in distance. By a top grass sire "Mizzen Mast" and this $115K yearling purchase could factor at long odds.
