2nd pick: #9 (Starlet Storm ) (6-1) - $250,000 daughter of 'The Factor' has tired in both starts. The latest came at Los Alamitos Sept. 7 in her first race since debuting there Sept. 23 of 2016. Working fast, from the Baffert barn, she has a nice post, and is making back-to-back starts for the first time.
3rd pick: #5 (Kentan Road) (9-2) - Filly tired after setting a quick and pressured pace when debuting in a sprint on the Del Mar grass Aug. 30. Trainer John Sadler (29% second time out) moves her to the dirt (23%) and stretches her out in distance .
