He rallied to finish second following a crowded start here May 9th in a very large field (13). It was his first since late Oct. and he's stretching back out in distance. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Forest Blue) (3-1) - He's been razor sharp in both starts to date. He was an easy winner here when debuting going 6-furlongs April 18th, then rallied after a troubled start to finish second in the G3 Laz Barrera stakes to the ultra impressive 'Kentuckian.' Stretches out for the first time and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Spin Forty) (8-1) - Long shot has won two in a row, the latest coming at this distance May 2nd facing upper end starter-allowance foes. Has the rail, and his speed/stalking style should have him involved through-out.
4th pick: #6 (Bentley's Gone) (10-1) - Recent maiden winner did so here at this trip for a $50K tag April 24th. It was his first off a two month break and by far a career best. Working well since and has a shot at a big price.
