Top pick: #5 (MORE COMPLEXITY) (7-2) - Reddam home-bred has the best proven early speed of those that have raced and comes off a strong third-place finish here at this level in fast time going 6-furlongs. She shortens up a bit in distance and only has the first-time-starter on the outside to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Our Dream Queen) (8-5) - Hollendorfer filly debuts off of some fast drills and meets an overall weak field for the level. The "Hall of Fame" trainer wins at a 30% rate first out, and when teamed with Bejarano, the pair win at a 36% clip.
3rd pick: #3 (Q' Viva) (6-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of "Tribal Rule" moves up in class in her first off a Mark Glatt claim. She rallied to run third when debuting here for a $50K tag on Jan. 1, then tired the day she was claimed after racing close up.
4th pick: #6 (Copperopolis) (7-2) - Mare by "Speightstown" hasn't raced since Dec. 9 of 2012, but has some nice works showing for her return. Home-bred may get a small share if ready.
