Top pick: #5 (MORE STORMYWEATHER) (7-2) - Grey filly comes off a career best when she rallied while wide to finish second here at this level on May 3. It was her first since a maiden score on March 13, and she should get a fast and/or contested pace to close into.
2nd pick: #8 (Fly to Freedom) (3-1) - Mare was an impressive gate-to-wire maiden winner here racing for a $50K tag on April 27. It was her first off a 19 1/2 month break, and trainer Pete Mille has given her five weeks to avoid a possible bounce. Working nicely and a in candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Yodel Up a Storm) (4-1) - She's been on the sidelines since a maiden win at Del Mar last August. That came first off a John Sadler claim, and he has this filly by "Swiss Yodeler" working fast at San Luis Rey Downs. Very dangerous if ready.
4th pick: #1 (Pearl de Vere) (8-1) - One run type has the rail and some good a.m. work showing for her first since Jan. 19th. A fast pace here is almost guaranteed, and that should help her style out at a big price.
