Top pick: #5 (GNARLY HARLY) (9-2) - Price play come off a troubled fourth-place finish here at this tag and trip on Dec. 28. It was his first in two months and he lost his footing at the break. Working well since and I like his chances.
2nd pick: #6 (Guyfromtheskyfive) (4-1) - Stalker stretches out after four straight good efforts in sprints. He's moving in with open company for the first time but is a win candidate from on or just off the pace.
3rd pick: #8 (Chester B) (5-1) - He's broken poorly in his last pair costing him all chance. Trainer John Sadler has him working nicely and this gelding is a win candidate with an alert getaway.
4th pick: #9 (Sterling Wager) (6-1) - Stretch-out sprinter has set fast fractions in his first pair and has hung on to finish third. There's not a lot of visible pace and he should be involved from start-to-finish.
