Top pick: #8 (WISH TO OPINE) - She's only raced once, finishing 2nd last April in a sprint on the Keeneland "poly". Privately purchased after that outing, she has a new trainer (Bob Baffert 27% with new arrivals), and he has an outstanding percentage (33%)off of long layoffs. Working fast, bred for the grass, and can win this if ready.
2nd pick: #11 (Spring Bloom) - She showed immediate improvement when moved to the turf last out in her 2nd start. Home-bred rallied to finish 3rd, beaten a length at Hollywod a month ago. Major factor today.
3rd pick: #4 (Vionnet) - Grey daughter of Street Sense has been bet heavily in both starts, finishing 4th in her debut on the main-track here, and last out didn't seem to care for the Hollywood "poly". Woprking very fast for this, and trainer Mike Puype will switch her to the grass.
4th pick: #6 (Perfecta) - Beautifully-bred filly has been in steady training here since late October and some of her drills are impressive. Trainer Rick Mandella looks like he has her well-prepared for her first public appearance.
