Top pick: #8 (MAHALO PRINCESS) (6-1) - Price play comes off a solid year (10-3-1-2), and speed/stalker ran well going 5-furlongs on the turf facing tougher on Nov. 22nd at Del Mar. Mare is nicely spotted and has a shot at long odds.
nd pick: #4 (Faith Hope Love) (5-2) - Speedy and lightly raced, filly is racing back into shape following a pair of layoffs. She exits the same Nov. 22nd grass sprint as "Mahalo Princess" and was a 1/2 length better at the finish. She should be involved every step and is a win candidate.
rd pick: #6 (Doctor Glynis) (7-2) - She's been freshened up since Nov. 15th and has worked three times locally since mid-Dec. Filly finished second here at this distance for a $40K tag on Oct. 10th. Bejarano is aboard for the first time.
th pick: #1 (Marina Del Heat) (8-1) - She's one of two entered by trainer Barry Abrams, is cutting back in distance and dropping in class. Longshot may get a share at a big price.
th pick: #3 (Veronica Bay) (12-1) - The second of the Abram's pair, she ships back from the NYRA circuit where she went 7-2-0-0 with most of those starts coming at or around this level. Capable of doing some damage with her best.
