Top pick: #4 (WABEL) (5-2) - He's one of three entered by trainer Bob Baffert and all race as separate betting interests. Speedy son of "Curlin" has been freshened up since finishing second in his first pair in December. Working fast and he's trying a two-turn trip for the first time.
2nd pick: #2 (The Man) (2-1) - Also from the Baffert barn, he set a pressured pace and held gamely to finish second here going 7-furlongs on Jan. 25. Another that's working fast and believe he's the probable favorite. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Nob Hill) (9-2) - The third horse from Mr. Baffert, he has two-turn experience and finished second here at this distance Feb. 7. One run type has the rail and completes a strong trio from the Hall of Famers' stable.
4th pick: #5 (Honor Society) (20-1) - Longshot stretches out after having problems at the break in his first pair of sprints. Blinkers go on and $400K son of "Bernardini" may factor at a big price.
