Top pick: #5 (INDYGO F M A) (5-2) - The probable favorite, filly is consistent and has gone 5-1-1-2 racing on this course in the past. She runs first off a Neil Drysdale claim and will stretch her out in distance. She's run well at this trip in the past (4-0-2-1), and meets a weak field. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Luckyvic) (5-1) - Veteran mare has 13X more minor awards than wins and just missed at this level and distance on Dec. 26. She ran evenly while running fourth going "down the hill" in her latest and is a threat from her ground-saving post.
3rd pick: #2 (Tiz Zoe Cee) (8-1) - Lightly-raced home-bred raced wide and evenly on Dec. 28 and price play was only 2 1/2 back of "Luckyvic" at the finish. Working nicely and strong finisher would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
4th pick: #7 (Chilada) (8-1) - Another that's lightly raced, she broke her maiden at this mile trip at Hollywood Dec. 14. Home-bred then ran a bit "rank" last out in the $201K "Cal Cup Oaks" on this surface and is dropping in class and has Bejarano aboard for the first time.
