2nd pick: #3 (Superlooper) (9-2) - Another of the Baffert trio, $410K son of "Discreet Cat" raced evenly after having some early traffic issues when debuting here Jan. 26. Working well since, Baffert wins at a 27% clip second time out.
3rd pick: #2 (Footstepsinbronze) (3-1) - Excellent debut here saw him stalk a fast pace and rally to miss by a 1/2 length going "down the hill" Jan. 26. He's worked twice since and trainer Simon Callaghan moves him from turf to dirt.
4th pick: #7 (Rough Passage) (5-1) - Colt has finished second in all three starts and each has been on this surface. Speed/stalker is cutting back in distance for this and Bejarano takes this son of "Stormy Atlantic" over "Footstepsinbronze."
5th pick: #6 (Simon Kenton) (6-1) - Debuting home-bred by "Empire Maker" has some nice drills for his first attempt and trainer Rick Mandella can have one ready (13%).
