Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (LONGDEN) (5-1) - One of twp entered by trainer Bob Baffert and he'll be the longer price of the pair. Godolphin colt was bred in England and is named for the 'Hall of Fame' rider of long ago. He rallied to finish a close up fourth here at this level going 7 furlongs Dec. 26 and is stretching back out from the rail. I like his chances at a big price.
2nd pick: #6 (Restoring Hope) (9-5) - The second of the Baffert trained pair, he's the morning line and probable favorite. Home bred by 'Giant's Causeway' has run well in both starts and enters off a third place finish at this level and distance Dec. 30. Working fast since, he's an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Jimmy Chila) (6-1) - Stretch out sprinter has been competitive in both attempts, one each on dirt and grass. Bred for speed, he's taken good betting action in both starts and will try and take this field from gate-to-wire.
4th pick: #9 (Heartfullofstars) (5-1) - Philadelphia Park shipper runs off a private trainer change to Phil D'Amato. Competitive in all there starts going shorter, he has early speed and runs with blinkers on.
