Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (SECRET CHORDS) (5-2) - Speed/stalker enters off a pace setting third-place finish at this level going 5.5-furlongs March 19. She had to be sent very hard from her outside post and draws better today at this longer trip. Trainer Dave Jacobson has worked her twice and 4-year-old gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Surfing the Menu) (5-1) - Very lightly-raced mare was an easy maiden winner here at this distance racing for a $20K tag March 17. It was only her second lifetime start and first since Nov 2 of 2014. Bet down to 2-1 favoritism in her return, she won by almost nine lengths. She's worked twice since and is nicely spotted in her first facing winners.
3rd pick: #8 (Audra) (3-1) - Grey filly is taking a sharp drop in class and is shortening up in distance. Four-year-old has been competitive in all three facing winners and is working fast at Los Alamitos for this attempt. Must be left in what I believe is a three-horse win mix.
