2nd pick: #4 (California Chrome) (8-5) - Cal.-bred moves up in class after an easy win here at this trip in the $250K "Cal Cup Derby" on Jan. 25. It was his first around two-turns and a repeat of it makes him a big threat.
3rd pick: #9 (Midnight Hawk) (3-1) - As mentioned above, he defeated "Kristo" on Jan. 11 to remain undefeated, but ran a bit "rank" last out when finishing third in the G2 "R.B. Lewis" stakes. Working fast, in the Baffert barn, and a win candidate.
4th pick: #2 (Unstoppable Colby) (8-1) - He ships in from Oaklawn Park where he broke his maiden at this distance Feb. 20. This is a huge step up and a minor award would appear to be his ceiling.
