Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (PEACE) (7-2) - He's one of four entered that broke their maidens last out. He did so here at this distance Dec 30 after finishing 2nd in his first pair. Stalker is working nicely, has blinkers added, and Mike Smith stays with him.
2nd pick: #5 (Shivermetimbers) (4-1) - Speed/stalker had some traffic issues when finishing 4th here in the G3 Sham Stakes going a mile Jan 6. He had broken his maiden at Del Mar in his previous start and should be in this from gate-to-wire.
3rd pick: #4 (Lombo) (5-1) - He was an easy maiden winner here going 6.5 furlongs Jan 20. By far a career best, I lik that they bring him back quickly for this longer contest.
4th pick: #1 (Ayacara) (8-1) - English bred doesn't have much speed, but he has a ground saving post and the distance is not an issue with him. Blinkers go on a fast/and or contested pace would help his chances out.
