Flavien Prat is aboard for the first time and I give this lightly raced 5yo mare a slim edge in a contest where you should box your wagers.
2nd pick: #4 (Surrender Now) (10-1) - There's lots of speed signed on, but I believe this mare is the quickest from the gate. She has a fine record at this distance 8-3-2-1 and is back in with her own sex after missing by 4.5 lengths sprinting here facing males March 21.
3rd pick: #1 (Stealthediamonds) (6-1) - Another with a lot of early speed and she's breaking from the rail. She defeated 'Just Grazed Me' by a 1/2 length here in a stakes at this distance for Cal breds Jan 18 and did so again against males March 22. 4yo is a win candidate.
4th pick: #7 (Jolie Olimpica) (2-1) - Brazilian import has won 4 of 5 overall with her only loss coming here by a 1/2 length in the one-mile Buena Vista Stakes (G2) Feb 22. She won a G3 at this distance Jan 11 in her first in No. America and her first since June 9. An obvious threat, but think she'll be over-bet some.
