2nd pick: #2 (Pioneerof the West) (6-1) - Price play moves back in with maidens after a solid pace-setting effort at Del Mar in a $100K turf stakes on Sept. 23rd. Working very fast locally for this, and he's racing on conventional dirt for the first time. He should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #5 (Bronze Star) (7-2) - The second of the Hollendorfer pair, he finished a strong pace-pressing second here at this level going 6.5-furlongs on Sept. 27th. $700K son of "Tapit" has worked three times since and is bred to enjoy this longer trip.
4th pick: #6 (Prospect Park) (4-1) - Another son of "Tapit", he finished second here going two-turns on Oct. 4th in his first since late July. It's a plus that he's already been competitive going two-turns, and he must be left in the mix.
5th pick: #7 (Hauler) (12-1) - He exits the same Oct. 4th contest as "Prospect Park" and tired after chasing a fast pace. Lasix is added, and he may factor at a big price.
