Top pick: #6 (RED MAN RUN) (7-2) - Gelding has been sharp in all three starts at this level since returning from a two month break in early August. Stalker is in career best shape and should get a fast/and or contested pace to close into.
nd pick: #2 (Bourne Hot) (3-1) - The class of the field, he's taking a big drop in class and will be running on conventional dirt for the first time. He's speedy, has beaten tougher in the past, and is an obvious win candidate.
rd pick: #1 (Znelle) (9-2) - Recent maiden winner at Los Alamitos has been much improved since coming off a long layoff in late August. He has fine early speed, is in a top barn (John Sadler), and is in the win mix from his rail post.
th pick: #4 (Industry Leader) (4-1) - Veteran gelding has finished second in two straight since dropping to this level and is back in shape since returning from an 11 month layoff in early July. He's worked solidly since his latest and has a shot with his best.
th pick: #8 (Real Deal Appeal) (6-1) - Gelding broke his maiden here on June 1st and has been on the sidelines since. Speed/stalker earned a figure that day that fits well with these if repeatable.
