2nd pick: #1 (Vow's Son) (6-1) - Speed/stalker lost by just under a length Sept. 7 at Los Alamitos. Nice effort and he breaks from the rail which remains the place to be at this meet.
3rd pick: #2 (Topgallant) (5-1) - Even-paced type enters off a pair of back-to-back fourth place finishes facing tougher. Grey gelding drops down to today's $20K tag for the first time and is a stretch threat.
4th pick: #3 (Second Gear) (5-1) - Improving and lightly raced, 3-year-old has finished second in three straight at this tag. The first pair of those came sprinting before he stretched out to a mile Sept. 23 at Los Alamitos. Must be left in the mix.
