Top pick: #8 (ZEE BROS) (2-1) - Fine debut here on Feb. 9 saw him sent hard from the gate, set a very quick and pressured pace, and hold gamely to finish second in a contest run in fast time (1:08.40) for the 6 panels. Working fast since and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Declassify) (4-1) - He's from the same barn (Bob Baffert) as "Zee" and this $450K son of "Orientate" is working very fast for his debut. He's been to the gate for his latest pair of drills, has the rail, and the Bejarano/Baffert combo wins at a 30% clip when teamed up.
3rd pick: #2 (Pure Loyalty) (3-1) - Colt cuts back a bit in distance after a third-place finish here at this level going a mile on Feb. 17. By far his best yet and it came in his second off a 4 1/21 month layoff. In the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Master Appeal) (7-2) - Excellent debut here on March 2nd saw him rally while wide to finish second of 12, beaten a length going 6.5 furlongs. He's worked fast twice since and may be a talented one.
