2nd pick: #1 (Alvaaro) (5-1) - Another lightly-raced 4yo, he hasn't seen action for eight months. The speedy sort is working steadily, drops to a new low, has the rail, and it's noted leading rider Flavien Prat is aboard.
3rd pick: #5 (Sorriso) (5-2) - 5yo has been sharp in both starts facing fellow Cal-breds and was a gate-to-wire maiden winner here going 5.5 furlongs May 16. Nicely spotted by Mark Glatt, he's in the mix, but this is a tougher assignment.
4th pick: #3 (Baby Gronk) (9-2) - Even paced type is making his eighth attempt at picking his second victory. He's finished close up in all, but needs to a bit better in the final 1/16th in order to visit the winner's circle.
