Working fast, this barn wins at a 23% rate second off of long layoffs, and at a 30% clip on the stretch out in distance.
2nd pick: #6 (Loving Moment) (7-2) - Lightly raced daughter of 'Uncle Mo' switches to the dirt following a pair of 2nd place finishes at this level and distance on the grass. Improving sort worked fast here June 3 and is a win candidate today.
3rd pick: #3 (Etching) (5-2) - Another that's improving, she missed by a 'neck' here at this level and distance May 10. It was a solid effort, but the race was run in very slow time. A contender, but this filly will need to do better in this spot.
4th pick: #2 (Point Streak) (5-1) - The second from the Baffert barn, $270,000 purchase is working fast for her first since an even effort sprinting here just under a year ago. She has some sharp works showing, and Baffert wins at a very solid 22% rate off of extended absences.
