Top pick: #2 (VIBRATO JAZZ) - Grey colt improved last out when moved to the turf for the first time by trainer John Sadler. He's worked three times since and will be making back-to-back starts for the first time. Price play.
2nd pick: #3 (Quatar's Pearl) - The probable favorite, he was beaten a 1/2 length last out in the same race as "Jazz" and was 2 1/2 clear of that rival at the finish. Improving with each outing and I almost made this $420,000 son of "Tapit" the top choice.
3rd pick: #9 (Full Cry) - Debuting son of "Bluegrass Cat" is working very fast for the Baffert barn (30% first out) and is bred to love the infield. This is a very tough distance to race at first out, but his works are too good to ignore.
4th pick: #6 (Rocket Train) - Trainer Mike Mitchell gave him a "tightener" at Hollywood Park five weeks ago and will move this son of "Silver Train" to the grass and add blinkers. Mitchell has won with 5-of-9 maidens making their second start and this colt is bred to love the turf.
