Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (TRAFFIC STOPPER) (4-1) - This filly ships back from Golden Gate Fields where she was competitive in three of four sprints on the all weather surface there. Speed/stalker has run well in one of three on conventional in the past, and I give her a slight edge today.
2nd pick: #6 (Rickie Nine Toes) (3-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, she's been sharp in all four attempts, finishing 2nd three times and 3rd in the other. Speedy sort missed by 1.5 lengths here facing tougher Jan. 24 and was beaten less than a length at this level Jan. 10. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Lucky Long Legs) (5-1) - She had a very wide trip when checking in 3rd, 4.5 lengths behind 'Rickie Long Legs' here Jan. 20. Filly is dropping into a claimer for the first time and is capable of factoring with a better journey.
4th pick: #10 (Smart Girl) (12-1) - Longshot has good early speed, but has backed up badly in both starts. Her outside post at this trip is a plus, and she may get a share if jockey Umberto Rispoli gets her to relax a bit in the first half-mile.
