Claimed that afternoon by Tim Yakteen for $50K, he drops her down for her return and has her working above average. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #8 (Lofty Cause) (5-1) - The field's busiest maiden, she has a speed/stalking style and draws a good post to use either strategy from. Competitive several times facing tougher groups than this and a threat at a square price.
3rd pick: #4 (Munny Spunt) (6-1) - She's racing second back from a 2.5 month break, filly raced both wide and evenly in her return here Jan. 16 when facing tougher, Drops for this and she worked very fast Jan. 28.
4th pick: #1 (Haynzee Panky) (4-1) - Pulled up in her debut Nov. 6 at Golden Gate Fields, she showed some speed before tiring next out at Los Alamitos. Working fast for her first since Dec. 15, she has the rail, blinkers on, and gets a rider upgrade.
