3rd pick: #6 (Lucky Shoes to Win) (5-1) - He looked sharp when breaking his maiden here going 8.5-furlongs Jan 2. Four-year-old had hinted at ability in the past and its nice to see him develop a stalking gear after being the front-running type earlier in his career. Can factor right back.
4th pick: #7 (Thunder Basin) (2-1) - Nicely bred 5-year-old rallied to miss by a 'nose' here at this level Jan 10. He earned a career best figure and this gelding by 'Unbridled's Song' had some promise early back in the spring of 2014. Must be left in the mix.
