Top pick: #3 (BLUEGRASS ELLIE) (5-2) - Filly was very wide last out after breaking from a tough post (11th of 11) and tired to finish a distant third on March 30th racing at this price. Encouraging effort came off a seven month break and was her first on conventional dirt. She's worked fast since and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #11 (Hero's Marine) (8-5) - Filly is making back-to-back starts for the first time and she'll be cutting back in distance and dropping into a claimer. A pair of sharp works since she last ran indicate she's ready to be competitive. Dangerous.
3rd pick: #4 (Visions of Candy) (8-1) - Debuting filly by the successful "Candy Ride" is in a good small barn (Tom Bell) and a sharp 5-furlong breeze here on March 26th suggests she has some talent.
4th pick: #8 (Star of the Night) (12-1) - Longshot hasn't seen action since Sept. 23rd at Fairplex. She was competitive in her debut, but regressed in her race prior to the long layoff. Working steadily here for her return and she could impact at a big price if ready.
