Top pick: #5 (SILK IN SILVER) (8-5) - The probable favorite, she was an easy wire-to-wire winner here going 8.5-furlongs on Oct. 10. It was her first off a Kristen Mulhall claim and ran her local record to 7-3-0-2. Bejarano is back on the re-ride and he's won with her four of the last five times he's been aboard.
2nd pick: #2 (Siberian Winter) (5-1) - She ships down from Fresno where she was involved in a pace duel and held to finish third in a starter-allowance. Filly has a solid year going and is 3-1-1-1 on real dirt in 2014.
3rd pick: #4 (Magic Number) (5-2) - She rallied while wide to finish fourth at Los Alamitos racing for twice this tag on Sept. 21. Strong finisher has beaten better in the past and a fast and/or contested pace would help out her chances.
4th pick: #9 (Putahexonher) (6-1) - She exits the same last race as "Silk in Silver" and held to finish second after giving chase to that filly from start-to-finish. It was her first at this tag and she can factor again if she avoids a wide trip into the first turn after breaking from an outside post.
