Top pick: #1 (TEMEEKU) (4-1) - Lightly-raced filly had a "stumbling" start but did well to finish 5th of 11, beaten 2 1/2 lengths racing here at this level and distance on Oct 12. Daughter of grass sire "Unusual Heat" has worked fast since and can break her maiden with an alert beginning.

nd pick: #2 (Susan B Good) (5-1) - She raced evenly while forced extremely wide when finishing fourth here going a mile on Oct. 19. It was a good effort overall and I like the fact that her connections bring her back in one week and shorten her up in distance.

rd pick: #10 (Sidepocket Run) (9-2) - No-speed type hasn't seen action since Feb. 16 when she was beaten three lengths here at this level and distance. Mare has been working both steadily and above average and has a new trainer (Phil D'Amato) 18% with new arrivals.

th pick: #5 (Fast Magoo) (7-2) - Home bred has been competitive in all four starts on dirt and "poly" and will be racing on the grass for the first time. Speed/stalker should be involved every step if she takes to the new surface.

th pick: #9 (Flyin for a Livin) (10-1) - Daughter of the deceased "High Brite" has raced evenly in three straight on dirt and "poly" and is another that is trying the turf for the first time. A recent fast work hints that she may be competitive at long odds.
