2nd pick: #6 (Stonegate) (4-1) - Colt has been on the sidelines since Aug. 30 but has been working very fast here for his return. $230,000 purchase has four straight bullet drills that include 6 furlongs in 1:11.20 Oct. 4 and he's an obvious win candidate if he runs to his a.m. moves.
3rd pick: #1 (Trojan Spirit) (3-1) - One of two 4yos entered, he's racing on the grass for the first time. Speed/stalker missed by a 'head' at this level going a mile on the Los Alamitos dirt Sept. 13 in his first start with blinkers on.
4th pick: #4 (Holly Blame) (5-1) - He raced a bit 'head strong' when finishing a distant fourth here at this level going a mile on the dirt Oct. 4. It was his first back following a four-month layoff and he ran deceptively well when making his grass debut here April 7.
