Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (CLAUDELLE) (9-5) - Moss home bred was a gate-to-wire maiden winner by 11 lengths going 6.5 furlongs at Los Al for a $40K tag Sept. 13. By far a career best, it was her first in a claimer and she's perfectly spotted by John Sadler to win right back.
2nd pick: #4 (Miss Lady Ann) (6-1) - She exits a wide and even effort sprinting 5 furlongs at this level on the Del Mar turf Aug. 28. A lightly raced home bred by 'Munnings', she's finished in back of today's rival 'Jaccat' in her last pair, but has more natural speed than that filly in a race without much pace that's visible on paper.
3rd pick: #1 (Jaccat) (8-5) - A 5yo mare by 'Midnight Lute', she's gone 5-1-3-0 since coming off a 10.5 month layoff April 26. She's finished second in two straight at this level, one each on dirt and turf and is an obvious contender at a short price with Flavien Prat staying aboard.
