Top pick: #6 (COUSIN RICKY) (8-5) - The probable favorite, lightly-raced gelding has won two in a row and still has room for upside. Three-year-old draws a nice outside post and has all his speed to his left in the gate. Nicely spotted by trainer Jeff Mullins and think this gelding can make it a three-peat.
2nd pick: #1 (Takem by Surprise) (9-2) - One of two entered by trainer Gary Sherlock and this runner has fine early speed and breaks from the rail. Barn drops him to a new low and a fine front-end rider (Edwin Maldanado) stays aboard.
3rd pick: #5 (Bushwhacked) (6-1) - The second of the Sherlock pair, gelding received a weak ride last out after a near miss in his previous start. Sherlock replaces apprentice Nicolas with Raf Bejarano and this gelding must be left in the mix.
