Top pick: #9 (MISS CENTERFOLD) (7-2) - She's one of two entered by trainer Jerry Hollendorfer and both have solid shots at winning this maiden event. This $400K daughter of "Tiznow" has finished second in her first pair and is training well for her first since Nov. 15. She draws a nice outside post for this trip and jockey Elvis Trujillo, who has been riding both, picks this filly.
nd pick: #5 (Never Ends) (9-5) - The second of the Hollendorfer pair, she's also finished second in both outings. She's earned the best 'figures' of this group and looms a win candidate at a short price with Bejarano taking over for Trujillo.
rd pick: #8 (Miss Bliss) (8-1) - Well backed at the windows in her debut, filly was away slowly and raced evenly once in stride. Race was at the tricky 6.5-furlongs distance on the grass Jan. 9. Working above average for her return, trainer Mike Puype moves her to the dirt.
th pick: #2 (Cafetiere) (4-1) - Filly had some traffic issues at the break when debuting here going 5.5-furlongs Dec. 27. She showed some ability while checking in 4th of 12, beaten 7 lengths. Home bred is working above average and can impact with an alert break.
th pick: #7 (Black Betsy) (6-1) - New York bred has been training bullets for some time as she prepares for her debut. Trainer Rich Baltas continues to be hot at this meet and this daughter of "Jump Start" must be left in the mix.
