Top pick: #8 (J K'S MISCHIEF) (5-2) - Nice debut here on Jan. 20 saw her bet down to 3-1 and finish a close up third after chasing a fast pace. She also had some traffic issues mid-way, so the effort was a solid one. Freshened up since, trainer Doug O'Neill has her working fast, presumably with the blikers on that she wears in "live" action for the first time.
2nd pick: #2 (Tizmetizyou) (3-1) - Grey filly has run well in all three appearances with her best coming when she finished a pace-setting second on this surface going 7 furlongs on Jan. 12. Working well for this and her last race going longer on the grass should help make her stamina better.
3rd pick: #3 (Jetbird) (4-1) - Debuting filly has been in steady training since Nov. and has a bullet half-mile drill here on Feb. 26 that suggests she ready to impact first out.
4th pick: #1 (Sweet Factory) (12-1) - Another making her debut and she draws the rail. She has 7 published works in 2013 and several catch the eye. Trainer Bruce Headley has Mike Smith signed on and this daughter of "Candy Ride" will be a square price.
