Top pick: #4 (FIGHT THRU) (5-2) - The probable favorite, gelding missed here by a 'neck' racing at this level and distance May 1. Stalker was running second back from a 7 1/2 month break and worked a bullet 6-furlongs June 3. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Seedsandstemaagain) (3-1) - Speed/stalker goes turf to dirt and races with blinkers on. He's finished second in three of his last five starts, with his two sub-par outings coming on this dirt surface. All of his best efforts have come on either grass or 'poly,' but he continues to do promising work on the main track. In the win mix.
3rd pick: #5 (Silver Spirit) (5-1) - No speed type is racing on the dirt for the first time and does so with blinkers on. Working fast and is a stretch factor at a square price.
4th pick: #6 (Bold Papa) (8-1) - Another with no early speed, he's working fast locally, presumably with the blinkers that trainer Rick Agarie puts back on this colt after a one race experiment without them.
