Top pick: #10 (LAKWANI) (7-2) - The probable favorite, she ran well here following a bobbling start when debuting at this distance Oct. 30. Filly is working fast for this and meets a field of many making their debuts. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #3 (Mio Me) (7-2) - Kentucky shipper finished a close up fourth when debuting at this level going a mile at Churchill Downs on the grass Nov. 9. Working well locally trainer Mark Casse (25% second time out) cuts her back in distance. Strong threat.
rd pick: #6 (Vow Me Over) (6-1) - Filly has been competitive in three of her four starts. Freshened up since Nov. 13, trainer Mark Glatt shortens her up in distance and adds blinkers.
th pick: #2 (Miz Penelope) (10-1) - She's racing first off a Rick Baltas claim and off almost a three month break. He moves her up in class and she's bred ("Mizzen Mast") for grass success.
th pick: #11 (Boat Drinks) (6-1) - One of seven making their debuts, filly by "Midshipman" cost $300K last April and is working steadily for a solid first out barn (John Sadler 19%).
