Top pick: #4 (FAB FOUR EVER) (7-2) - Her trainer, veteran Ed Truman, is having a solid meet (4 for 12) from his smallish barn. This lightly-raced filly tired here at this level on Feb. 1. It was her first since debuting here in late June. Well backed in her return run, she had a tough trip between horses. Truman brings her back quickly, adds blinkers, and has her making back-to-back starts for the first time.
2nd pick: #6 (Miserable Blue) (5-1) - Grey filly is one of two making their debuts. She has some sharp works on view and trainer Jim Cassidy is doing well at this highly competitive meet 41-7-5-8. Barn is capable first out (17%) and she need not be much to factor against this group.
3rd pick: #2 (Office Chatter) (4-1) - Filly raced both wide and evenly when debuting here for a $50K tag on Jan. 9. She took some betting action that day and has worked three times since. Trainer Patty Gallagher drops her down and replaces Van Dyke with veteran Delgadillo.
4th pick: #3 (Just Bookin) (9-2) - She enters off a third-place finish here at this level on Feb. 1. It was her second back from a five month layoff and filly had a rather poor start. Can factor from gate-to-wire with an alert break.
