She was an easy winner as a heavy favorite when debuting in late October at Gulfstream Park West (the former Calder facility). Sent here following that score, she tired in her local debut on the grass facing tougher in her first for trainer Phil D'Amato. He brings her back quickly, has worked her twice since, and Bajarano is aboard today.
2nd pick: #6 (Tribal Headress) (8-1) - Speed/stalker has been freshened up since finishing 3rd on the synthetic surface at Golden Gate Fields Nov. 13th. She went 3-2-0-1 up North and can factor at a square price if she can repeat that form on real dirt.
3rd pick: #8 (Nine Point Nine) (3-1) - She's moving up in class and is stretching out a furlong. A winner here for a $25K tag going six furlongs Jan. 17th, stalker draws a nice outside post for this distance.
4th pick: #2 (Yodelsong) (5-1) - She won her debut July 31 at Del Mar, then wasn't competitive in four straight facing stakes competition. Filly finished 3rd here going six furlongs when dropped in class Jan. 24th and is racing today on a quick turnaround (15 days).
