Top pick: #3 (BATTLE OF EVERMORE) (2-1) - The probable favorite, he's been competitive in four of his five starts. His best of those came when he finished second here at this trick "down the hill" trip on Oct. 10. Stalker is the horse to beat.
nd pick: #5 (Anytimeplace) (4-1) - Favored here on Jan. 10, he tired badly in a contest that was switched from the grass to the dirt. He should be in this from start-to-finish.
rd pick: #7 (Discreet Prince) (12-1) - Another that's quick from the gate, he's tired in all four starts and is racing off a two month freshening. The high percentage barn of Bob Diodoro will try him on the grass for the first time.
th pick: #9 (Go Trumpy Go) (15-1) - He was away slowly in his debut and was never involved. He's been gelded since and trainer Pete Mille moves him from dirt to turf. Look for an improved effort at a big price.
th pick: #6 (Shanty Irish) (8-1) - He raced evenly in his debut and didn't have the smoothest of trips. Goes dirt to turf and is working fast for this attempt.
