Top pick: #1 (MISS JUDGED) (4-1) - Price play goes turf to dirt, takes a big drop in price, and she has the best early speed of this group. Daughter of "El Dubai" has a fine 5-furlong work just four days ago, draws the rail, and I think she can take this at a square price.
2nd pick: #6 (Alissa G) (5-2) - She cuts back in distance after finishing second here at this tag going a mile on March 22nd. Race was run in very slow time (1:40.60) with the final 1/4 going in 27 seconds flat. Still, in this field she's a threat.
3rd pick: #2 (Proud Bok) (2-1) - The probable favorite, she finished fourth of seven, beaten 5 1/2 lengths when debuting for a $50K tag going 5.5 furlongs on March 21st. Trainer John Sadler drops her in price, stretches her out in distance, and home-bred is an obvious contender with any improvement at all.
4th pick: #3 (Mangita) (6-1) - Debuting filly has been in steady training since early Jan. and trainer Bruce Headly can have one ready first out. Home-bred need not be much to factor against this crew.
