Top pick: #4 (KATY DRAMA) (3-1) - 'Katy' is lightly raced and showed a much improved effort when moved to the grass March 21. Racing at this level going 'down the hill,' she rallied while wide to finish third of 12, beaten just under two lengths at the 6.5-furlong trip. Trainer Pete Miller stretches her out to a mile, and daughter of "Tale of the Cat' is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Autumn Flower) (4-1) - Freshened up since Feb. 14th, she was never involved that day after being 'bumped' at the break. Working well for this, trainer Dan Hendricks stretches her back out and drops her into a claimer for the first time.
3rd pick: #10 (Revenue Virginius) (4-1) - Daughter of 'Congrats' has some speed and is racing third back from a 4-month layoff. Trainer Howard Zucker stretches her out around two-turns and drops her into a claimer. It's nice to see Talamo stay aboard, and this filly's speed makes her a threat.
4th pick: #3 (Socialized) (7-2) - Home bred by 'City Zip' rallied to finish second here at this distance March 1. She's earned identical 'figures' in her first pair and should factor with a similar effort today.
5th pick: #2 (Lirica Heat) (15-1) - Longshot tends to race evenly, but should be nearing a peak effort as she races back into shape following her return from almost a 6-month layoff in late Feb. It wouldn't take much of a step forward to grab a share at a big price.
