2nd pick: #9 (Unbridled Summer) (5-2) - The probable favorite, she's finished 2nd in both starts, one each at Del Mar and Los Alamitos. Speed/stalker has a big experience edge on this group, draws a trouble free post, and races with blinkers on for the first time. Obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Part of the Charm) (5-1) - Lasix is added to this $700,000 daughter of 'Tapit' for her second start. Well backed when debuting Sept. 7th at Del Mar, she raced head-strong and a bit greenly that afternoon. Trainer Rick Mandella has Gary Stevens aboard, and the pair win at a 31% clip when teamed up.
4th pick: #3 (Sea Mistress) (8-1) - Debuting filly has the normal series of six-furlong works that are typical from trainer Jerry Hollendorfer (30% first out). Home bred by 'Stormy Atlantic' must be left in the mix.
